Ada County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm live custody, change a release status, obtain an official booking record, post bond, or answer for the sheriff, police, jail, court, or corrections department. Contact the office that holds the record.
Start With the Right Office
For an adult booking processed into Ada County Jail, ACSO is the main records and custody contact. A city police department may hold the incident report, while the court holds later filings and dispositions. The public pages reviewed did not give a fixed ACSO records-counter schedule. Confirm hours and any visit requirement before traveling to 7200 Barrister Drive.

Ada County Jail
Booking, current custody, bond, and release information are routed through ACSO’s official jail systems.
For a narrow booking request, include the person’s complete name, date of birth if known, arrest or booking date, agency, case number, and whether the request seeks a photo, record, or release entry. ACSO’s online form is at acsoforms.adacounty.id.gov/forms/pir.
Where to Look for Each Need
These routes keep a custody question separate from a court or city-record question:
- For a new arrest or current Ada County custody, use the county-wide search and records page, then verify with ACSO.
- For an active warrant, use the Wanted Fugitives page and its official ACSO warrant link. Never approach a person named in a warrant listing.
- For a court case, hearing, or disposition, search Idaho iCourt or contact the Ada County Clerk.
- For a Boise incident report, use Boise Police’s written request route.
- For a Meridian Police report, use the Meridian public-records form.
- For an Eagle city record, use the Eagle public-records form; ACSO remains the practical booking-image custodian when the person is jailed there.
- For a sentenced or supervised person, use the Idaho Department of Correction search. For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP or ICE locator.
City Police Contacts
City records and county jail records can overlap, but the agencies do not hold the same file. A written request should go to the department that created the incident record.

State and Court Records
The Ada County courthouse is at 200 West Front Street, Boise, Idaho 83702. Use iCourt and the clerk for case access rather than treating a jail roster as the final case record. IDOC’s headquarters is at 1299 North Orchard Street, Suite 110, Boise, Idaho 83706, (208) 658-2000. Its search concerns state custody or supervision and does not replace an ACSO booking request.
For federal custody, use the BOP Inmate Locator. For certain immigration custody, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator. Neither is a county-style public booking-photo roster.
